Pre-owned watches are valuated based on their general condition. The most important features that determine the value of the watch are the dial’s appearance, the state of the crystal, stamps and engravings, the case, and precious metals the watch has.

Your watch can be adjusted by our on-site jeweler. The jeweler will remove links from the watch to adjust it to your wrist size. We offer repairs and maintenance by our off-site watch repair specialist.

Most of the care and maintenance required for luxury watches is rather straightforward.  Keep the watch clean, away from chemicals and over exposure to water.  It is best to have the watch examined by a jeweler every few years to check batteries, movement and that it is running properly.    

When looking to purchase a luxury watch, there are various factors other than the brand and model that you may want to consider such as the dial type, the material of the band or strap, watch movement, watch features, the watch’s weight, water resistance, and quality signs. Be sure to check the serial number, if possible, for authenticity.

Make sure to clean your watch as much as possible, get your watch serviced regularly, avoid magnets, take care of the crystal, avoid long exposure to sunlight, avoid chemicals, and most importantly, read your watch manual. If the watch as an automatic movement, keep it going in a watch winder to maintain its power.

You can protect your expensive watch by avoiding long exposure to sunlight, avoiding direct contact with chemicals, staying away from magnets, and by understanding how water resistant your watch is.

To clean a luxury watch, you will need a small bowl with water, a lint-free cloth, a soft-bristled toothbrush mild soap detergent, and leather cleanser if necessary. Gently scrub the case and face of your watch with the soft-bristled toothbrush using soapy water. Once you are done scrubbing, rinse off the soap and dry the watch using the lint-free cloth.

You can protect your watch face by purchasing a plastic screen protector to avoid scratches and potential damages to the crystal.
